Julie joined us in March, but with the country being put on lockdown very soon after, Julie has only recently began working full time again, and she’s ready and keen to talk to any potential or existing customers!

What is your role at Todd Research and in what circumstances would I come to you for something?
Sales covering the South, I would be happy to help with enquiries about our portfolio of products this could be over the phone or a face to face meeting.
Are you an early bird or a night owl?
Who has influenced you most when it comes to how you approach your work?
I’ve been in field sales for over 25 years, during that time I’ve met many people in various capacities, I believe this has played a part in moulding me in to the sales person I am today.
How do you prefer to start your day?
Shower, dress, makeup, walk the dogs (good time to think about the day ahead) and then breakfast, sets me up for the day
How do you prefer to end your day?
Walk the dogs, bell practice or the gym, Netflix and chill
What was your first job?
What’s a mistake you made early on in your career, and what did you learn from it?
When I worked in telecoms, I was headhunted a lot and was driven solely by money and so I moved around a lot, I’ve since learned the grass is never greener and more money isn’t a good reason to change
What led you to this career?
I worked as a receptionist for Bass Brewery and a position became available in telesales, I did that for many years and loved the buzz of earning and winning prizes, field sales was the only way forward for me then and I’ve hardly ever looked back!
What energizes you at work?
Meeting new people, solving the customers issues and achieving my goals
What’s a work-related accomplishment that you’re really proud of?
In a previous role in telecoms I managed the BT account, my company carried out work to accommodate installments onto our sites for no charge to BT, I negotiated and implemented a standard charge for this which brought in many thousands and was still in place way after I left
If you could add one thing to the Todd Research office, what would it be?
Being new to Todd Research I don’t feel they are lacking anything, but I’d like to think I could become a valued member of the team and one who everyone would enjoy dealing with.
