We were delighted to return to International Security Expo 2026, held at Olympia London on 29–30 September.
It was an incredibly busy two days for our team, giving us the opportunity to showcase our range of security screening solutions, catch up with existing customers and partners, and meet plenty of new faces from across the security industry.
Showcasing Our Security Solutions
This year, we brought a wide range of equipment to our stand, giving visitors the opportunity to see our technology up close and speak directly with our team about their individual security requirements.
Taking centre stage was our TR15 Cabinet X-ray Scanner, designed and manufactured by us here in the UK. Compact and easy to integrate into existing security operations, the TR15 is ideally suited to screening mail, parcels and other incoming items within mailrooms, receptions and other security environments.
Alongside the TR15, we showcased our 50-30P Conveyor X-ray Scanner, providing an efficient screening solution for organisations handling bags, parcels and other items.
We also had the Paragon Walk-Through Metal Detector on our stand, giving visitors the opportunity to learn more about personnel screening and how the system can be used across a variety of security environments.
For explosives detection, we demonstrated our TR-TRACE Explosives Trace Detector. This mobile solution can detect a wide range of explosive substances in vapour or trace particle form, has a warm-up time of less than one minute and contains no radiation source.
Visitors could also explore Videray’s portable X-ray technology, designed to support security professionals when a portable inspection solution is required.
Completing our line-up was the OD Security Soter RS Body Scanner, a low-dose X-ray body screening solution designed to detect internally and externally concealed items.
Bringing the Technology to Life
One of our favourite parts of exhibiting at International Security Expo is being able to demonstrate our equipment directly on the stand.
It gives us the opportunity to go beyond product specifications and show visitors how the technology works in practice. Our team was on hand throughout the event to answer questions, demonstrate key features and discuss which solutions could best suit different security requirements.
With visitors from a wide range of sectors, we had some interesting discussions around security screening within corporate environments, critical infrastructure, aviation and transport, law enforcement, government facilities and other high-security locations.

We were also pleased to have some of our valued technology partners join us throughout the event.
A huge thank you to Niki from Videray, who joined us to support conversations around Videray’s portable X-ray technology, and Stefan from OD Security, who was on hand to share his knowledge and expertise on the Soter RS Body Scanner.
Working closely with our partners allows us to offer our customers a much broader range of security screening technology, alongside the solutions we design and manufacture ourselves.
It was great to have Niki and Stefan alongside the Todd Research team for such a busy event.
Catching Up and Making New Connections
International Security Expo isn’t just about the equipment we bring with us. For us, it’s also about the people we get to meet.
Across the two days, we welcomed existing customers, partners and industry contacts onto our stand, as well as organisations discovering Todd Research for the first time.
It was great to hear about upcoming projects, changing security requirements and some of the challenges organisations are currently facing.
We also held several pre-arranged meetings on our stand, where visitors could sit down with our team over tea, coffee and soft drinks and discuss their requirements in more detail.
Supporting Our Customers Beyond the Equipment
Our work doesn’t stop once the right equipment has been selected.
We support our customers throughout the lifecycle of their security solutions, from helping to identify the most appropriate equipment through to installation, training, servicing and ongoing support.
